Q: Do I have to start as a Sales Partner?
A: Yes. Our program is designed to insure a partner’s success. With each new referral you become more qualified to earn more commissions. Experience is a key factor in your success.
Q: Do I have to start as a Sales Partner if I have experience reselling CRMs already?
A: Yes. You would still be required to start as a Sales Partner, but you may be eligible to accelerate your schedule towards the next rank. We would not accelerate anyone to the rank of Master Partner (reseller) unless the Partner demonstrated exceptional skills required at the Master Partner level.
Q: What is the cost to be a Partner?
A: All Partners are required to have a paid Mothernode subscription of at least the Sales and Marketing Edition. This edition is also specially discounted for Partners. Speak with your Partner Advisor for more details.
Q: What happens if I cancel my subscription?
A: Having a Mothernode subscription is part of your contractual agreement to being a Mothernode CRM Partner. Cancelling your subscription will end your Partner contract on the date of your cancellation.
Q: When I rank up, will my commissions change for my existing referrals?
A: Yes. Once you achieve your next rank your commission tier will increase for all your referrals. The same is true when you rank down.
Q: What is the average value of a customer account in monthly subscriptions?

A: Commissions are paid monthly. Commissions are paid the second half of every month for the previous month’s sales.

A: Per your Partner Agreement, Mothernode reserves the right to terminate any Partner Relationship for performance reasons.
Q: As a Mothernode Partner, am I able to resell other products that may or may not compete with Mothernode CRM?
A: Yes. There are no restrictions on Partners selling other services, including those we compete with. However, per Mothernode’s Partnership Agreement, Partners are required to maintain consistency referring customers to Mothernode in order to keep their Partner status.
Q: Am I in any way financially responsible if my Customer Referrals default on their payments?
A: No. All payments to Mothernode are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Q: What happens if my Customer defaults on their contract and ends their relationship with Mothernode prematurely? How does that affect me?
A: The moment a Referral Customer prematurely ends their relationship with Mothernode they are considered an inactive subscription and the Partner will no longer earn commissions on the account. In the event of breach of contract, Mothernode will send the account to collections, in which case the balance due is no longer commissionable income for the Partner, because of the costs incurred by Mothernode to retrieve the balance owed on the agreement.
Q: What is the minimum commission I can make on my customer referrals?
A: Commissions are based on your rank and are calculated by the number of users within each of your customer referrals. The base number of users in any Mothernode CRM account is 5 users. So at a minimum 5 X the edition plan X your commission percentage. Example 20% Commission on a 5 user Enterprise account = $100 per month.
Q: Can I markup or discount a Mothernode subscription?
A: No Partner can alter or adjust the price of a Mothernode subscription. Discounts can be offered to your customer referral by Mothernode, but they must be approved. This would be addressed on a case by case basis.
Q: Is there a difference between a Partner Account and a Customer Account?
A: Typically no. But sometimes special circumstances may be applied to a Partner’s Agreement.
